This must still be an intermittent problem almost a year later. We have
been able to publish numerous updates to our Chrome app over the past
couple of months until this week. Now when we tried to publish an update
it said it could take a couple of hours and a day later it's still showing
as Pending Review? There is absolutely nothing structurally different in
this update than the previous set that were published within the time

Would appreciate if you could have a look at the app with
ID jbefefbcoggageojgcmipnfgjlekmpjp which is currently in a 'Pending
Review' state. (we usually get past this state within an hour or so)

The latest Chrome update (36.0.1985.143) has rendered the app unusable due
to what seems to be a Chrome bug (which we have reported) .. so the fix
which is pending review will make a few thousand of people happy.

to complete a test cycle for our extension when our app hits 'Pending
Review' every time we push to the Store, despite the extension not being
publicly available.

Unfortunately sending the source code around doesn't work for us, since we
need the plugin ID to be stable for oauth2 login.

It would be a huge help to skip whatever process this is for non-public
apps and extensions.

A little known feature lets you load an extension in unpacked mode but
force it to have a specific id by first installing the extension normally
and copying the 'key' field from the manifest before uninstalling, then
placing that key value into your unpacked source's copy of the manifest
before loading it.

Starting yesterday, some of them, but not all of them, are transitioning to

It's not jQuery or Bootstrap!

Just as an example, if you were calling google analytics from within the
html, that would be calling a script that is hidden in a way, that is you
are calling something outside the scope of your extension. The simple
solution would be to use the google analytics code in the dashboard where
there is an option to do so.

In short, check to see if your are calling any code outside of the scope of
the extension.

Is there any cause of this that I can maybe change to make publishing a
little easier? I wrote a pretty simple addon and wanted to share it with
people in my office, but it has now been "Pending Review" for over a week.
It kind of defeats the point of even programming the addon for my office.
